Dr. Han YUAN, professor and PhD Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. His research focuses on space flexible robotics and on-orbit maintenance technologies. He has led 6 national-level research projects, published over 60 academic papers, and been granted more than 30 national invention patents. He has developed critical equipment for various research institutes and enterprises, achieving technology transfer.

Dmitry Uglanov is a Professor in the Department of Heat Engineering and Heat Engines, Samara National Research University named after Academician S.P. Korolev (Samara University), Russia, and conducts research in the areas of heat engineering and heat transfer in power plants, cryogenics, cold-energy systems, cooling systems and energy-saving problems of LNG using . Professor Uglanov graduated as an engineer for laser systems and received Ph.D. at Samara University, Russia in 2003 and 2006, served as assistant of the Heat Engineering and Heat Engines till 2009. From 2023 till now he is a Professor in the Department of Heat Engineering and Heat Engines. In 2022 he received a Doctoral degree in engineering. He is also a Vice-Dean of Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering and Member-Correspondent of International Academy of Refrigeration. He has published more than 150 journal papers in his research fields. From 2025 he is a visiting Professor of North Western Polytechnic University.

Dr. Dou Zhang is an Assistant Researcher and M.S. Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Her research focuses on the mechanical behavior of shape memory polymer (SMP) composites and their application-oriented validation, with particular emphasis on constitutive behavior, thermo-mechanical coupling, and structure-function integration for deployable mechanisms. The SMP-based locking-and-release deployment mechanism developed by her team enabled the first dynamic unfurling of the national flag on China’s inaugural Mars mission, Tianwen-1. This achievement was selected as one of the “Top Ten Scientific and Technological Advances of Chinese Higher Education Institutions” in 2021.

Aiming Shi, Doctor of Fluid Mechanics, Professor of School of Aeronautics in Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research interests are aerodynamics and aeroelasticity for high-speed vehicles. There are more than fifty peer-review aritles having been published from him and his co-authors. The published journals include AIAA Journal, Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Nonlinear Dynamics and Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, etc.

I am an assistant professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering and the director of the Air Transportation Systems Design Laboratory (ATSDL) at Sejong University. Prior to joining Sejong University, I worked for American Airlines, located in Dallas, as a full-time operations research analyst. With the aid of the Korean Government Overseas Scholarship program, I received my Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering (home unit: Aerospace Engineering) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta. My research focuses on integrating different areas of specialization (i.e., machine learning, optimization, and systems design) and utilizing them to solve real-world problems in the aviation industry. I am particularly interested in air traffic management, aviation environmental impact assessment, airport modeling and simulation, advanced air mobility.

Ruixuan Xu, Postdoctoral fellow Ruixuan Xu received his PhD in Aerospace Science and Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2024. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the City University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on the performance regulation of metal fuels and integrated energy devices for aerospace and propulsion applications. Dr. Xu has published more than 20 papers in leading academic journals such as Adv Funct Mater. His work has been supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Innovation Foundation for Doctor Dissertation of Northwestern Polytechnical University.

Prof. Changguo Wang Changguo Wang is a professor in mechanics in Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His research is focused on the lightweight design of aerospace structures and composite materials. He is the editor board of CJA, SCPMA and so on. He published more than 100 papers in JMPS, IJSS, AIAA J, and CJA, etc.,.

Serhii Shevchenko was born in 1961, in 1984 he graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (KhPI) with a degree in "Hydraulic Machines and Automation"). In 1990 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Development and research of new designs of gland seals for pumping equipment of nuclear power plants". He worked in the research laboratory of vibration reliability of machines of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Sumy branch of KHPI (later SumDU): from 1984 to 1994 - a research associate, participated in developments in the field of aviation technology and nuclear power plants. Since 1995, he has created and managed private enterprises of the machine building industry of Ukraine, which were engaged in the production of pumping and compressor equipment for various industries. Since July 2020, he has been a senior researcher at the Pukhov Institute, Institute for Modelling in Power Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IPME). In June 2023, he defended his doctoral (Doctor of Technical Sciences) dissertation on the topic "Mathematical models of processes in sealing systems of centrifugal machines". Since August 2024, he has been an academician of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine (head of the Sumy regional organization). Since January 2025, he has been the scientific supervisor of the fundamental work "Creation of models, methods and means of increasing the safety and efficiency of the functioning of power pumping equipment", leading researcher. The direction of S. Shevchenko's scientific research is related to the development of methods for the theory of sealing and vibration reliability of centrifugal machines.

Hanshen Li received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Waseda University, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from North China Electric Power University. He is currently a Research Fellow at the China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute and also serves as a Youth Growth Mentor for the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League. Prior to 2023, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Working Committee of Yongding Road Subdistrict. Prof. Li serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy Science and Technology and is a Young Editorial Board Member of EcoEnergy. He is a member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE, and CES. His research interests span power systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. To date, he has published over 30 papers, which have received more than 100 citations.

Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Mughal is an Associate Professor at Electrical & Computer Engineering Department and Project Leader of the Space Engineering Lab at Sultan Qaboos University. With extensive background in Systems Engineering for small satellites, he has played key roles in CubeSat missions such as Aalto-1, Foresail-1, and APSCO SSS. His research focuses on Spaceborne AI and edge intelligence, plug-and-play satellite architectures, and embedded systems. He is currently focused on developing SQU’s space capabilities by building sustainable infrastructure and driving student-led satellite innovation.

Nancy Leveson is Jerome C. Hunsaker Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. Prof. Leveson conducts research on all aspects of system safety including modeling and analysis, design, operations, management, and human factors and the larger arena of system engineering. One particular common element throughout all her work is an emphasis on applying systems theory to complex systems. She has received many honors, most recently the 2020 IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies. She was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2000.

Prof. “Moh’d Sami” Ashhab earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering / control and dynamics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, U.S.A. in 1996 and 1998, respectively. After working for about four years in industry in the U.S.A., he joined the Hashemite University in Jordan in year 2002 where he became a mechanical engineering Professor in 2013. Prof. Ashhab spent his sabbatical and unpaid leaves during the period 2015 – 2018 as a mechanical engineering professor at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah in United Arab Emirates. He served as the editor-in-chief of the Jordan Journal of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering during the period 2018-2022. Prof. Moh’d Sami Ashhab joined Al Hussein Technical University, Amman, Jordan in year 2020 where he is currently a mechanical engineering professor in addition to being the first dean of scientific research and innovation from 2021 until 2025. His primary interests are in the areas ofcontrol, dynamics, mechatronicsmechanics, automation, MEMS and NEMS, artificial intelligence, optimization, simulation, energy, and industrial applications. Prof. Ashhab has more than 70 publications and several industrial projects in the above areas.

Professor Xiao-Wei GAO is the Leading Scientist of Dalian University of Technology, the National Expert of Significant Projects of China, and the Council Member of Aeronautics Society of China. He serves as the Associate Editor of Int. J. EABE, the Editor of IJCM, and the Editor of the Chinese Journal “Propulsion Technology”. His main research interests are in Computational Mechanics, Thermal-Mechanics-Fluid Coupled Numerical Methods, etc.. He was the principal investigator of more than 50 research projects sponsored by National Significant Projects of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and relevant industries. He was awarded the prizes of the Natural Science by the Ministry of Education of China and the ICACM Fellow by the International Chinese Association for Computational Mechanics. He authored/co-authored 5 monographs and published more than 280 SCI journal papers. He derived a new mathematical formulation called Radial Integration Method (RIM) for BEM, proposed a new strong-form FEM called Element Differential Method (EDM) and the strong- and weak-forms mesh free methods called the Free Element Method (FrEM), and recently created a completely novel numerical method called Finite Line Method (FLM).

Dr. Mahmut Reyhanoglu is a professor in the School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT). Prior to joining WIT, he held academic and administrative positions at various institutions, including serving as Professor and Director of Robotics Engineering at Columbus State University in Georgia, Glaxo-Wellcome Distinguished Professor and Chair of Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and Professor and Program Chair of Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. His extensive research makes use of advanced mathematical techniques and models that arise from fundamental physical principles. His primary research interests are in the areas of nonlinear dynamical systems and control theory, with particular emphasis on applications to mechanical and aerospace systems, robotics and mechatronics. Dr. Reyhanoglu has edited 7 books, contributed to 7 book chapters, and authored/co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed journal/proceedings papers. He has served as an Associate Editor for both the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board. He has also been a member of the International Program Committees for various conferences and contributed to the AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Technical Committee. Currently, he is as an editor for the International Journal of Aerospace Engineering and the MDPI Electronics Journal. Dr. Reyhanoglu has led several research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) for NASA FSGC and FAA-CST grants, and Co-PI of a project funded by DSO National Laboratories of Singapore. He collaborates regularly as a consultant on NASA SBIR projects. Dr. Reyhanoglu established a theoretical framework for a class of inherently nonlinear engineering control problems using tools from differential geometric control theory. He has applied his theoretical results to constrained dynamical systems, including wheeled mobile vehicles and space multibody systems. Dr. Reyhanoglu has directed his recent research efforts towards the control of underactuated mechanical and aerospace systems, including flexible robotic manipulators, autonomous marine vehicles, and space vehicles. His current research also includes the control of unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics and autonomous systems. Dr. Reyhanoglu has been consistently named in Elsevier’s list of the top 2% of the World’s Leading Scientists in the Aerospace and Aeronautics field and in ScholarGPS that recognizes the top 0.5% of all scholars worldwide in the Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering discipline.

Prof. Lingfeng Shi received his Ph.D. degree in Power Machinery and Engineering from the Tianjin University in 2019. After graduation, he has acquired support from the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering in the University of Science and Technology of China. Currently, he is serving as an Research Professor in the University of Science and Technology of China. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed international journal publications in energy field. His research focuses on four different aspects of CO2-based thermodynamics cycles, including (1) design of advanced power/refrigeration cycle, (2) Mars energy system, (3) key component development in waste heat recovery, (4) dynamic simulation and intelligent controls.

Qinmin Zheng (Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor) He has been Associate Professor at Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. His research interests include intelligent fluid mechanics (the application of data-driven methods such as deep learning, modal reduction, and data assimilation in fluid mechanics), computational physics (high-fidelity numerical simulations and mechanistic analysis of turbulence), and vortex-dominated flows (aircraft flow fields and aerodynamic/thermal analysis, flow separation and transition, and fluid–structure interaction). He has published more than 20 SCI-indexed papers in leading international journals in fluid mechanics, including Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physical Review Fluids, and Physics of Fluids. He has led and participated in multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the National Numerical Wind Tunnel Project, among others. He also serves as a Young Editorial Board Member of Acta Aerodynamica Sinica, Experimental Fluid Mechanics, and Advances in Aerodynamics (English edition), and as a reviewer for internationally renowned journals such as Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review Fluids, Physics of Fluids, and Journal of Fluids and Structures

Dr. Zoltan Gal is full professor in the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Debrecen, where he serves as head of the Department of Information Systems and Networks. An IEEE member, he has extensive experience in academic leadership and university-level IT and infrastructure development. His research and professional interests include high-speed communication networks, satellite–terrestrial integration, Quality of Service, Internet of Things systems, and distributed and parallel computing.
